This year, GLAM will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4 from noon-5pm at Villa East, 301 N. Main Street. Admission is $3 for adults, and children 10 and under are free. To keep the mood festive and energy levels high, GLAM also features tasty treats for sale.

an afternoon filled with laughter, singing and dancing? It all happens 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 in the brand new SF Fine Arts Hall on the Northwest Campus, 3000 NW
83rd St., Gainesville. Orchestra seats are $15, balcony seats are $12, and children under 12 are free with a
limit of two children per adult.

Cane Day Festival

at Dudley Farm Historic State Park, Gainesville
Dudley Farm Historic State Park will have their 21st annual Cane Grinding Festival on Dec. 3. The grinding and boiling of sugar cane to syrup will take place amidst entertainment, old time craft demonstrations, children’s games, food and vendors. Step back in time to see a representative living history 1880s “cracker style” working farm of the Dudley family who lived and worked the farmstead.

Grove Street Festival 2011

The most grassroots of the festival in Gainesville celebrates its 13th Anniversary on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 4-6 PM, in the field in front of Ignite Life Center, 404 NW 14th Avenue, in the basketball court area. All are welcome. Dance by Pofahl’s Next Generation, Japanese and Korean poetry, cumbia, mapale, fire hoop dance, telescope viewing of Venus and Jupiter and more.
