Feed-A-Frog-Friday: Ribbett!!!!
1st Friday of every Month at 2 p.m.
On the First Friday of each month, beginning September 2nd, youngsters with an adult can join a Morningside Nature Center animal caretaker for an exciting and educational program.
This Free program begins at 2 p.m. in the Education Building.

Registration for our Winter Session begins Thursday,January 5th.
We’ve got the courses posted on our Web page, so take a look and find your favorite class.
The office will be closed for Winter break from December 22nd through January 4th, we reopen Thursday, January 5th.
You can register online, over the phone, by fax, or in person – which ever way you prefer!

St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany on Friday, January 6, at 12:00 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate Christ being made manifest to the world. St. Joseph’s is located at 16921 W. Newberry Road.

Gainesville Harmony Show Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, is hosting an Open House from 1-4, for anyone interested in finding out about Barbershop singing. We’ll have punch and cookies and you’ll have a chance to talk to members of the chorus and maybe even learn a song!

The opera tells the story of three kings, a crippled boy, and a miracle telling the tale of three splendid kings on their way to pay homage to a baby in Bethlehem. They stop to ask for a night’s shelter at the hut of the boy and his widowed mother who welcome them. But sight of the kings’ rich gifts causes trouble in the poor household until the truth is known about their destination.

The annual Gainesville Camellia Society camellia show will be at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, 4700 SW 58 Dr, Gainesville, on Sat., Jan. 7, 2012 from 1 to 5 pm and Sun., Jan. 8 from 10 am to 5 pm. The show features award-winning blooms from across the southeastern United States. The public may enter blooms from 7 to 10:30 am on Saturday.
