Crochet Rugs Saturday, July 28 1:30pm at Millhopper Branch Library.
Learn to make rag rugs from old sheets, t-shirts and old clothes. Suzanne Bendetti from Dudley Farm in Newberry will demonstate this craft and provide cloth and instructions. Bring large crochet hooks and cloth if you have them.

CMC Oral History Mixtape Saturday, July 28 7:00pm at Civic Media Center.
The Civic Media Center (CMC) will host the “Oral History Mixtape,” an event launching its Oral History Archive. The archive is a collection of digital audio recordings of local activists and keynote speakers from around the world that was assembled by the CMC. The “Oral History Mixtape” event will feature samples of the archive’s greatest hits, as well as the stories behind them.

Superhero Scramble Saturday, July 28 8:00am at Waldo motor Sports, Waldo.
This is a super cool obstacle style race that has 20+ obstacles and is 4-6 miles long. Racers also have the chance to raise money for Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, a nonprofit organization that sends monthly care packages to troops deployed.
