 The College For Kids (CFK) program is run by SF’s Community Education and is designed as an academic program offering students challenging, fun, hands-on learning experiences beyond the usual school environment. A wide range of classes from art to science to computer skills is available to choose from in block sessions.  Classes are for ages 10 – 14 (rising 5th – 9th graders.)

Jean also falls under her spell. Their beautiful home and majestic countryside reverberate with familial intrigue, as both Renoirs become smitten with the free-spirited muse.

Moonlight Walk

Saturday, May 18 7:00pm to 11:00pm  Kanapaha Botanical Gardens  Gainesville, FL

Kanapaha’s Moonlight Walk is a magical experience where there will be twinkle lights, lanterns, and approximately 1500 luminaries along a 1.25 mile walkway. There will also be live entertainment, food, and refreshments. The astronomy club will be out with telescopes to view the cosmos. No pets allowed. I love this!!!             Bridge with Title3

4th Annual Sweet Dreams Touch A Truck

Join us on May 18th, 2013 for the 4th Annual Sweet Dreams’ Touch-A-Truck event. Sweet Dreams’ Touch-a-Truck provides children with a hands-on educational experience by giving them an opportunity to climb into and/or on vehicles and to talk with the operators. They will learn about the vehicles and pedestrian safety around large vehicles. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Camp Amigo! The Children’s Burn Camp of North Florida. Love, love, love this!!

17th International Festival of Women Composers

Women composers from all over the world and from all times are featured in chamber music settings. Three concerts at different venues in March and May will take place by a host of local and other musicians.
The event is founded by Dr. Miriam Zach and sponsored by The Margaret Zach International Women Composers Library, the University of Florida Honors Program, School of Music, the France-Florida Research Institute, and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church
