Princeton Review Assessment (PRA)

The Princeton Review is the only test prep company that has created an assessment test to help students understand the differences between the SAT and ACT. Featuring a sampling of questions from both tests, the PRA is designed to help determine which test is better suited to their abilities.  Check the calendar for: Scores will be reviewed July 26. The Cooking Classes are theme-based classes, offered throughout the month, and are open to the public. In this class, we’re featuring cuisine from Morocco. Our cooking class mission is to have some fun and adventure in the kitchen, while learning some handy tips and gaining confidence navigating recipes, tools and ingredients. Come learn to enjoy preparing that which brings us all together – food!  This sounds like a blast!!!

“Free Fridays” Concert Series

Featuring some of the best local and regional musicians, The “Free Fridays” concerts will play each Friday from 8 to 10 p.m. through November 8 for a total of 32 weekly concerts. Since the Plaza’s dedication in 1976, all ages have brought their blankets and lawn chairs into our beautiful downtown amphitheater and joined in the fun under the stars. If you have never been you gotta go!!

UFPA 24-Hour Film Competition

The 4th Annual UFPA 24-Hour Film Competition is designed to provide those who are interested in filmmaking with a creative deadline, and then the opportunity to show their work. Contestants will have 24 hours to make a 5-minute film, followed by a public viewing.
July 20, 1 p.m.  Team Check-in  July 21, 2 p.m.  Deadline and public viewing.
The competition and viewing on July 21 are free and open to the public. How interesting is this!!!??
