Panama: Tropical Ecosystem Friday, Aug 22 10:00-5:00

The Florida Museum of Natural History will open a new gallery exhibition, “Panama: Tropical Ecosystem,”  Focusing on Panama’s biodiversity and the importance of nature to Panamanian culture, the free exhibit includes photographs, stereographs, plant illustrations and books highlighting the rich diversity of flora and fauna in the land between North and South America. Developed by UF’s George A. Smathers.



Sunshine State Games Grass Volleyball Series

The second of seven stops of the Sunshine State Games Grass Volleyball Series will be held Saturday August 23, at Flavet Field on the campus of the University of Florida. This series is open to volleyball players of all skill levels and gives the community an opportunity to enjoy a day of fun in the sun while playing volleyball!!!!
